Istanbul Court, Enforcement and Title-Deed Matters, Followed from Alanya
For a lawsuit, enforcement file or title-deed matter in Istanbul: following the file through UYAP, attending hearings by e-hearing or through a substitute lawyer, and land registry transactions.
Who this page is for
For anyone whose lawsuit, enforcement file or property is in Istanbul and who wants it handled through our office in Alanya. Turkish lawyers may act before courts and enforcement offices anywhere in Türkiye; an office in the city of the file is not required.
Following the file through UYAP
Court and enforcement files are followed through the National Judiciary Informatics System (UYAP) lawyer portal: submissions are filed with an electronic signature, and service and interim decisions are visible online, so most day-to-day work on an Istanbul file can be done from elsewhere.
Hearings: e-hearing, SEGBİS and substitute counsel
Where the court allows it, lawyers can attend a hearing by video through UYAP (e-Duruşma), and parties or witnesses can be heard through the audio-video system SEGBİS. Where attendance in person is needed, another lawyer can appear under a written authority (tevkil), provided the power of attorney allows it; responsibility for the file and contact with the client stay with our office.
Courthouses and land registries
Cases are heard at the courthouse the file belongs to – for example İstanbul (Çağlayan), İstanbul Anadolu (Kartal), Bakırköy, Küçükçekmece or Büyükçekmece. Title-deed transactions take place at the land registry responsible for the property’s district, booked through Web Tapu, and can be completed under a power of attorney (Documents for a title deed transfer).
